None Fragile on return
After waiting almost 18 months, fans can finally enjoy the Kickbat-branded theater at None Too Fragile again in September. On this occasion, artistic co-directors Shaun Derry and Roman Polanski, as well as the long-awaited show, will be staged.
The three fall pieces, announced to end in 2021, will begin September 3-18 with John Polono’s “Small Engine Repair” in late rehearsals before the March 2020 pandemic stops. From October 15 to 30, “ Baraboo Butcher ”by Marisa Weggin, and from December 3 to 18,“ Rooster Year ”by Olivia Dufour.
Tickets will be available soon. Those who purchased a subscription for the 2020 season, which was partially full due to the pandemic, transferred their subscription to three shows this fall.
The theater will also conduct a Phase 1 fundraising campaign for the Road to Accessibility project, adjusting theater doors, adding security lighting and elevators in the lobby of the Coach House theater on West Exchange Street in Akron. Install. .. Elevators allow customers in wheelchairs to move from the lobby to the platform to enter upper level theaters.
The historic shed was built before ADA compliant legislation existed. This means that guests with reduced mobility must now enter the theater space through a large barn door, but do not have access to the lobby community space. None Too Fragile plans to change that with a fundraising campaign of $ 79,000. https: //charity.gofundme.com /… / pathwa… / nonetoofragileinc /.
