New works on display at Arts Warehouse
Ready to see new works by local artists this weekend? Visit Arts Warehouse in downtown Delray Beach to see “Traces,” an exhibit featuring pieces where artists leave their “mark” or an indication of their presence in their work. The exhibition includes works by Dominique Denis, Isabel Gouveia, Renee Phillips, Jennifer D. Printz and Hayley Sheldon. Go out and see it!

Shark Preservation Week at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium
Shark lovers, how can you satisfy this fishy craving for information on these underwater wonders? You can of course visit the Cox Science Center and Aquarium for the last two days of Shark Preservation Week! The center is working this week in partnership with the American Shark Conservancy to produce many activities, labs, tank presentations and more to celebrate these incredible predators. It’s bound to be an exciting time for you and your little ones!

Classical ballet exhibited in Boca Raton
Seventy years before its Disneyfication, “Sleeping Beauty” was adapted into a ballet composed by Peter Tchaikovsky in 1889, and is the second of his three ballets (the other two are “The Nutcracker” and “Le Lac des Swans”). Boca Ballet Theater dusts off this tale of Princess Aurora and her Prince Désiré with plenty of panache and expert staging by the company’s co-artistic director, Dan Guin. Enjoy the show!
