The Midnight announces next orchestral version of their debut album, “Endless Summer” – EDM.com
The Midnight breathes new life into their 2016 debut album, Endless summer.
With the help of the Magik * Magik Orchestra, the famous synthwave group will reinvent their debut album, 2016’s The rear view mirror, to celebrate its fifth anniversary.
The duo took to social media to share a teaser video behind the scenes of the recording process, writing that they “wanted to try something different” as they reflected on the groundbreaking album.
Ahead of the full EP release, synthwave connoisseurs can enjoy his debut single, “Vampires”. The track is quite different from The Midnight’s signature retro-futuristic sound, as Magik * Magik transforms the classic with a rich and emotional makeover.
Along with the digital release, The Midnight announced that vinyl copies of the EP will be available for purchase. Fans can choose between standard white vinyl or a limited edition blue vinyl which was autographed by the group.
