Livermore Valley Opera will perform Opera in the Vineyard again this summer and fall at Retzlaff Vineyards, which has hosted the event for over 20 years, after being canceled last year.

The evening of classical opera arias takes place in a relaxed setting surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old pepper trees. You can purchase Retzlaff Vineyards wines to taste with the picnics they bring while listening to performances by professional opera singers.

“Opera in the Vineyard has always been a popular LVO event that has created a wonderful community of music lovers,” said Raquel Holt, event co-chair and founder and board member of LVO.

The summer opera in the vineyard will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 25; the fall event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 12.

“After having to cancel these events in 2020, we are so excited that we can now come together again to enjoy unique performances of opera arias, concert arias and maybe even a small cabaret” , Holt said. “You won’t want to miss it.”
