The woes of the Punjab Congress seem far from over. Anandpur Sahib Congressman Manish Tewari criticized former Punjab congressman Harish Rawat on Sunday, alleging that the soap opera is still going on in Punjab.

Tewari, who is also an important face of the G-23, said in a statement which was tweeted: “I have never seen such chaos and anarchy as what is happening today in the Punjabi Congress. Repeated and open challenge of AICC by a CCP chairman, colleagues bicker publicly like children. Throaty language against each other that even fishwomen wouldn’t use. For 5 months, it is the Congress of the Punjab against the Congress of the Punjab. Do we think the people of Punjab are not disgusted by this daily soap opera? The irony is that those who complained the loudest about transgressions and aberrations were unfortunately and continue to be the worst offenders themselves. “

The congressman also criticized the Kharge committee and said: “History would record that the appointment of the committee which apparently heard perceived and real grievances was a serious error in judgment. Where is the progress on the issues that have agitated these MPs and other eminencies – Bargari, Drugs, Power PPA, illegal sand mining. Was there any forward movement. ” He asked.

Tewari, who is close to Amarinder Singh, denounced Harish Rawat for his recent comments in the media about former chief minister Amarinder Singh and himself. Tewari said he has been in Congress for 40 years, but has not seen such kind of chaos in the Punjab unity.

Congress appointed Harish Chaudhary as the Punjab official on Friday, which has not gone well with the anti-Sidhu camp in the state as Chaudhary was instrumental in Amarinder’s withdrawal Singh and would be close to Rahul Gandhi. .

Now Chaudhary has the difficult task of dealing with disgruntled party groups and coordinating with Sidhu and Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. The two do not share a good relationship and Sidhu attacked the chief minister because he was unhappy with the choice of cabinet and the appointments in the various state organs.
