Go to bed late at Mount Timpanogos, catch Ballet Hispánico at BYU, and dance to the music of Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo

Go “sleep at night” at Mount Timpanogos

Head to Mount Timpanogos in the Utah Valley for Night Owling, a professionally guided snowshoe tour presented by the Great Basin Wildlife Rescue via Sundance Mountain Resort. On January 31 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., experts will use live owls to teach participants about winter wildlife and how to call and locate owls in the area. Tickets are $60 per person and include a guide, equipment rental and a pass. Calls 801-225-4107 for availability and reservation.

See Ballet Hispánico at BYU

BYU Arts presents Ballet Hispánico on February 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pardoe Theater on campus. Ballet Hispánico is a national Latin dance organization that has just celebrated its 50th anniversary. Tickets are $35 for the general public and can be purchased online at bit.ly/3o0QT3M. Per university guidelines, this event requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test within the past 72 hours (required for ages 12 and older). Masks are mandatory inside the room. No babies or children under 6 will be admitted.

February 5

Dance to the music of Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo

Join Urban Lounge (241500 E., Salt Lake City) on February 5 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. for “22 and good 4 u,” a dance party featuring music from pop stars Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo. Tickets are $15 in advance (available online at bit.ly/3G7GpG6) or $20 on the day. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within the last 72 hours is required for entry. Note that this is a 21+ event.
