Lexington Opera House announces 2021-2022 season

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Broadway and theater fans rejoice! The Lexington Opera House announced its 2021-22 season of Broadway Live and Variety Live on Thursday. Audiences will be able to enjoy five Broadway shows and two Variety Live events in person this fall as the Opera House resumes public performances at full capacity.

“Charlie and the Roald Dahl Chocolate Factory”, “An Officer and a Gentleman”, “Waitress”, “An American in Paris”, “Hairspray” and “Concert With the Stars and Stomp” are in the spotlight in the new season .

The lineup includes five nationally touring Broadway musicals, a cabaret-style concert and a highly acclaimed Broadway percussive performance.
Subscriptions are available by phone at (859) 233-3535 or www.lexingtonoperahouse.com. Season passes start at $ 205 per subscription, with monthly payment plans available. Single tickets for Broadway Live go on sale September 13.

Season ticket holders can also purchase additional tickets for live Broadway shows at a 10% discount and before the date on sale to the general public. They also have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for Variety Live presentations.
The Broadway Live series will feature five performances of each show, all of which are scheduled to take place on weekends, including three evenings and two mornings. The performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening performances are at 6.30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday mornings at 1 p.m. Season ticket prices range from $ 205 to $ 385, which you can start ordering Friday at noon. Tickets can be purchased at the Lexington Center box office or online.

The Lexington Opera House said it would follow guidelines recommended by state and local health authorities, and the protocols would be posted on the Opera’s website. Ticket holders will also receive a message with all updated requirements prior to each event.
