The Bendigo Symphony Orchestra is preparing for its 40th anniversary gala next month after two tumultuous years in which the COVID-19 pandemic has restricted its ability to perform in public. A concert this past Easter was his only public performance in two years. As the orchestra is about to return to the Ulumbarra Theater, photographer Kristen Beever has composed these artistic shots of BSO musicians, featuring Cally Bartlett on violin, Anne Begg on cello and guitar, and member lifetime of BSO John Gault on violin. The black and white images were taken during the orchestra’s first in-person rehearsal after the lockdown was released in August.
