Ballet Theater UK presents Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale Frozen at the New Theater Royal, Lincoln

Snow is heralded in Lincoln with the retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale, The Snow Queen, by Ballet Theater UK.
The production follows the story of Gerda and her quest to find her friend Kay, whom the Snow Queen has placed under a curse.
Created in 2011, The Snow Queen was choreographed by artistic director Christopher Moore.
Returning for its tenth anniversary, this classic ballet will be reprized by Narissa Course, former principal dancer of Ballet Theater UK and original Snow Queen.
Set to a stunning classical score, this production combines storytelling with classical dance, an attribute the company has become famous for.
The track was featured in the top five touring productions by The Independent, as well as highlighted by The Guardian as one of the top three dance productions of Christmas 2019.
Ballet Theater UK’s acclaimed company of international dancers, their magnificent costumes and sets will combine to create a magnificent spectacle at the New Theater Royal.
Singer-songwriter Graham McPherson – better known as Suggs – will take the stage on Tuesday.
After their first successful My Life Story tour, Suggs hit the road again with a follow-up tour – Suggs: A Life In The Realm of Madness.
With the help of Deano, his faithful pianist, Suggs tells his story in words and music using some Madness classics and a few other songs he wrote himself.
